RCB vs MI result

RCB def MI by 14 runs on Match 31 of IPL2018. With both sides languishing at the bottom, they were desperate for victory. Defending 168, RCB had MI under the pump at 21 for 3; later reduced to 84 for 5.

MI's chase started on the wrong note. Tim Southee led to back-to-back golden ducks for Ishan Kishan versus RCB. Suryakumar Yadav followed suit. He shuffled, and missed Umesh Yadav's was trapped lbw. MI's woes continued as skipper Rohit Sharma got out for a golden duck. He was hurried onto the ball, with bounced a bit more, and got a thick edge.

JP Duminy's calmness was the need of hour. While he stuck around for a while, he didn't look threatening. Kieron Pollard, on the other hand, was deceived by a cross-seamer from Mohammed Siraj and got out early .RCB kept things under control courtesy Yuzvendra Chahal's turn.

The Pandya brothers, Hardik and Krunal, had a clear plan: to bat deep and consolidate later in the innings. They played out Chahal, and had some dry overs in between as well. Pandya bros looked to up the ante by attacking Colin dr Grandhomme. However, the run-flow was curtailed due to a much-improved death bowling from RCB. Siraj mixed it up, and bowled flat with adequate pace. Southee also made it difficult for MI.

Hardik made a valiant fifty but couldn't prevent his side's sixth defeat. His was only not a very fluent innings; showing the sticky nature of the surface. Earlier, MI opted to bowl first. RCB somehow managed 167 for 7 by contributions from Brendon McCullum, Virat Kohli and de Grandhomme.

MI couldn't maintain the momentum post their impressive win over Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

CSK beats DD / Watson ,MSD on fire

Chennai Super Kings have defeated Delhi Daredevils by 13 runs in the 30th match of the IPL played at Pune's Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium. Earlier, Shreyas Iyer, who won the toss and invited Chennai to bat. While batting first Cheenai score 211/4 in 20 overs.  For Chennai, Shane Watson scores 78 runs in 40 balls , Rayadu 41 in 24 balls and MS Dhoni scores 51runs in 22 balls .

Chasing Chennai's 212 runs target,  Delhi team could only manage 198 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by 13 runs. K. M. Asif, who debuted for Chennai took 2 wickets. On behalf of Delhi wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant scores 79 runs in 45balls.

Shane Watson was the man of the match for his 78  runs off 40 balls . Watson scored 4 fours and 7 sixes.

Ambati Rayudu retained his first position (370 runs) in the Orange Cap by scoring 41 runs in 24 balls.Also in the list Delhi's Rishabh Pant (306 runs) at no.4  and Chennai's Mahendra Singh Dhoni (286 runs) at number 5.

Speaking of Purple Cap, Sunrisers Hyderabad pacer Siddharth Kaul is in first place with 11 wickets in 8 matches. Trent Bolt of Delhi is second also 11 wickets and Rashid Khan is at third position with 10 wickets.

This CSK player out with injury / CSK vs DD tonight

Cheenai Super Kings fast bowler Deepak Chahar has been sidelined by a hamstring injury and is set to miss two weeks of cricket action, head coach Stephing Fleming has confirmed. The injury sustained during Saturday's match against Mumbai Indians in Pune. Chahr was injured after bowling the firat ball of his third over. He left the field after that delivery and did not return to field for the rest of the match. Chahar has played all seven matches for CSK this season and picking up six wickets at an average of 23.17, including a match winning performance 3 for 15 against Sunrisers Hydrabad.

Fleming also confirmed that Lungi Ngidi, who had flown back to South Africa following the death of his father, has rejoined the squad.

He has hamstring injuries in the past , he has a preety good idea when he is in trouble so its probably a couple of weeks it is a bit of blow". Fleming said during post match press conference. After loosing Santner through injury now they loose Deepak Chahar.

CSK will host Delhi Dairdevils in their new home ground in Pune tonight and will be looking to get back to winning ways after suffering a loss against Mumbai Indians in their last match.

Any of David Willey , Mark Wood or Lungi Ndidi can replace Chahar in lineup. Most probably Imran tahir will also drop to bench.

CSK vs MI tonight

The 27th match of IPL will be played between Cheenai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians in MCA stadium in Pune. To maintain hopes for qualify in playoffs Mumbai Indians have to perform well tonight and they have to beat CSK. In their last 6 IPL matches Mumbai Indians have only won once. They are in the last position in Points Table. While CSK have won 5 of their last 6 matches played. They are in their best form. These two teams previously faced each other in IPL opening match where CSK defeat Mumbai by one wicket. Mumbai Indians batting is not in form this season.Only Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan are making runs consistently . Rohit Sharma only played one big knock. And their bowling is also seen average.

On the other hand CSK's performance has shown why they are one of the best Team in IPL. For CSK Shane Watson, Rayadu, MSD and Bravo all are performing brilliantly. They are making big scores in almost every matches. In bowling department  Shardul Thakur and  Deepak Chahar are perfroming very well and Spinners Imran Tahir and Harbhajan Singh are also performing good. Csk is looking very balanced team this season.
While seeing their form CSK are seen as favourites to beat Mumbai tonight.

Csk beats Rcb / Msd's heroics

Cheenai Super Kings beats Royal Challenger Banglaore by 5 wickets. The match was played in Rcb's homeground M chinnaswami stadium. Ambati Rayadu 82 and Ms Dhoni's 70 runs heroics help Csk to beat Rcb and by 5 wickets. Rcb's bowling woes continue as they failed to defend a total of 205 runs. Their was 30 runs needed in last 2 overs but CSK achieved it with 2 balls left. Ms Dhoni was the Man of the Match for his blockbuster inning. He score  70 runs in 34 balls with 7 sixes and 1 four in his inning. Ambati rayadu also scores 82 runs in 53 balls. While batting first RCB score a total of 205 runs . Virat Kohli once again got out early but half centuries by AB deviilers and Quanton de cock and a late cameo by Mandeep Singh Rcb managed to score a total of 205/8 in 20 overs. AB DeVilliers scores a 23 ball half century.
While run chase CSK lost some early wicket. They were 74/4 in 9 overs when MS Dhoni comes to bat. There was a 101 runs partnership between Msd and Rayadu which done the job for CSK and won the match. They turned the course of a match in last 10 overs and home team could not make a comeback.

CSK is on top of the IPL points table.
RCB is on 6th spot. RCBs batting is although excellent in this IPL but their bowling speacially in death overs is not upto the mark.
